Standard Heaters

HEATCO Oil Immersion Heaters are fabricated from mild steel tubing, brazed to mild steel flanges. These heaters incorporate thermostat pockets and terminal covers.

Applications : heating fuel oils, and in oil circulating pre-heaters, heat exchangers and similar equipment.

HEATCO Industrial Water Immersion Heaters are made of nickel plated copper tubing brazed to brass flanges, and are provided with terminal covers for protection of terminals.

Applications : hot water baths, tanks, boilers, etc.

HEATCO Alkaline Heaters, made of chrome nickel steel tubing are suitable for alkaline environments which corrode mild steel. (Terminal cover provided)

Applications : heating of cleaning solutions and detergents.

Lead Covered Immersion Heaters can be used wherever the sulphuric acid concentration is up to a maximum of 10%.

Applications : nickel/chrome/dull electroplating baths.

Chemical Heaters are constructed from titanium tubes and offer excellent degree of corrosion resistance.

Applications : heating of corrosive liquids such as nitric and chromic acids.

HEATCO Refractory Charged Replaceable Cartridge Immersion Heaters have been designed for horizontal operation. These are manufactured from chrome nickel steel tubes and fitted with terminal covers. The heating elements can be easily replaced.

Applications : heating of water, oils and paints.

HEATCO Refractory Charged Air and Finned Heaters are made from galvanised plated, mild steel. These are designed for horizontal operation and fitted with finns for better and more uniform heat dissipation.

Applications : heating chambers, convectors.

HEATCO Air Heaters are fabricated from chrome nickel steel tubes and are specially suited for exposed and semi-exposed areas.

Applications : baking and curing of paints, lacquers, varnishes, chemicals and adhesives; also for drying metals, powders, sand, paper, textiles and other similar materials.

Finned Air Heaters are also made from chrome nickel steel tubing. The finns help in rapid and uniform heat transfer for forced air heating. Fitted with finns, the overall width will be 75 mm.

Applications : forced air heating as in ovens, air ducts, industrial processes and load resistors wherever heated air is required.
